Nicole Silva, ND
Dr. Liptan has outlined a highly-effective fibromyalgia treatment program with the Four R’s, and as a naturopathic doctor my training and education fit well with this approach. Naturopathic medicine combines the wisdom of nature and traditional healing methods with the rigors of modern science. Since my training is in both integrative and conventional therapies, it gives me the flexibility to find the best treatment approach for each individual patient.
I am thrilled to have Dr. Liptan as a mentor and colleague. I look forward to working with her to benefit the fibromyalgia community for years to come. The path to wellness can begin at any level, including physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual, and I am prepared to meet you where you are and focus on what is important to you.
Although I had been dealing with the symptoms for several years beforehand, it was not until medical school that I would suspect the diagnosis of fibromyalgia and later have it confirmed by a specialist. Naturopathic treatments improved my symptoms and my quality of life. Fibromyalgia is considered an invisible illness, one which has for me come with invaluable lessons as well as hardships. I am proud to now be in a position to guide others toward a better quality of life in a way that is validating and empowering for them.
